I got really enthusiastic about the documentary Niet Pluis, which I was able to see last night. Superbly done, with such good energy. From fun and funny to emotional. The authenticity and drive shine through. And I suspect everyone who sees this documentary will feel that drive bubbling up in themselves too. The PFAS tap has to be turned off, and not just for the 'non-essential PFAS'. What a horrible term that is. What is essential is the health of life itself.

With three fluffy leading ladies, the production team manages to make painfully clear how humans pollute their own living environment with PFAS. Even if you consciously choose 'everything from your own garden, because that's healthier', that turns out not to be a given. Niet Pluis portrays that confronting reality in a penetrating way.

A unique yet entertaining view from the perspective of our backyard chickens shows how PFAS and PFOS have ruined and poisoned their living environment and ours, and still do. A penetrating and clear message that makes us aware of the dangers to all living organisms and our environment, with a call to take action.
